ATLANTA, Georgia (February 26, 2022)— Mimi J, beauty industry entrepreneur and celebrity makeup artist, has announced her brand Grind Pretty will hold its second annual Grind Pretty Fest on April 23-24, 2022, both virtually and in Atlanta. The two-day, ’90s-themed event will feature a schedule packed full of fun and education for current and aspiring female founders, including an opportunity to win a $10,000 grant from Mielle Organics in an elevator pitch competition.
Grind Pretty Fest is an interactive experience designed to empower female entrepreneurs and give them the resources and confidence to bring their businesses to life. Attendees will be treated to live music from exciting DJs hand-selected by celebrity DJ Tracie Steele and enjoy opportunities to shop with over 20 beauty industry vendors while networking with other women entrepreneurs.
In addition to fun and networking, Grind Pretty Fest attendees will also have the chance to attend educational sessions featuring over ten high-impact speakers, including keynote remarks from Monique Rodriguez, CEO of Mielle Organics. Attendees will also be inspired at the Visionary Awards Brunch, a ‘ themed event honoring inspiring female business owners and innovators. This year’s honorees include Claire Sulmers, Necole Kane, Chastity Garner Valentine, Janell Stephens, and Paige Wallace.
“I’m thrilled to host the second annual Grind Pretty Fest and love seeing its growth from last year–and last year’s event was pretty amazing,” said Mimi J. “I’m so grateful to be able to use this platform to give back to women of color entrepreneurs and have fun while doing so! And who doesn’t love the ’90s!?”
